A McCain/Palin t-shirt-wearing 7th grader at a Florida elementary school has been deemed “racist” by her classmates.
“Some of the students were calling me racist because I was Caucasian,” she said. “I wanted the Caucasian man to win. And I told them that’s not true. It’s my freedom of speech, it’s my opinion.”
It is this sort of bullshit that makes me want to run around smacking people in the face. Preferrably with scrap pieces of lumber.
If the Democratic candidate for president loses this election it will be for any number of things…yes, because he’s black will be a good enough reason for some people. Questions about his religion will work for others. His socialist ties and agenda will be quite sufficient for plenty more.
Regardless of the actual reasons, the insistence that it must have something to do with the quantity of melanin in his epidermis will endure, and every person who asks the question will do their part to ensure racism lives on in this country.
Me, I’ll be toting my 2×4…just HOPING someone will ask it of me.
Make it a steel 2×4. Or an ax.
