No Tongue Either

By  ·  November 13th, 2008

Boy, Mister Liberty Girl is PISSED tonight.  He’s got supercilious co-workers continually trumpeting the rise of their Messiah.  He’s got vagrants accosting him in the parking lot of his downtown (read: shitty part of town attempting to be revitalized) office for cigarettes and handouts.  His beloved stock market is settling down to its new home in the nearest dive bar toilet, hanging out with all the peanut-studded floaters.  And Paulson, or Bernanke, or whoever the fuck it is actually in charge of this goddamned circus, has single-handedly, in the past five months, added one-third to the total debt our beloved country has incurred IN ITS ENTIRE EXISTENCE.

That’s right, partygoers…of the 15 trillion dollar debt existing, these dishonest, corrupt, scheming disgraces to their mothers AND grandmothers have added 5 trillion to it.  That’s not just money out of our pockets, that’s money our children’s frigging GRANDCHILDREN will be paying back.

We are being screwed, and we didn’t even get dinner first.

  1. The best part is, now American Express is a bank, and they’re starting to look at consumer credit for some of this money. Since the bailout was passed, the recipients have changed. Also, the bill that allocated thee $700Bn removes any accountability from those tasked to spend it.

So basically, Paulson can give it to whomever he so chooses. No oversight.

    Nice. Thanks Congress.

  2. This sort of thing is why people like Glenn Beck are collecting pitchforks.

I’m starting to wonder if the U.S. government is even going to be able to make payroll next fiscal year.
