Via Mike, a white college student wearing a McCain/Palin pin is accosted by black girls who deem her “racist” due to her lack of support for The Chosen One. Yeah, what you think happens does indeed happen.
Once it was obvious that Obama was going to win, Grossmann said, she left the building alone shortly after 9:30 p.m. and headed to her room.
Under a skyway connecting the two buildings, four women “bigger than I am” came up to her, she said.
“One approached me and got in my face and called me racist because I had the pin on. That really ticked me off, but I kind of left it alone because she was so much bigger than I am,” said Grossmann. She is 5 feet 2 and weighs 120 pounds, and played boys high school hockey in Alaska. “The girls in the background were just a little bigger than me. They were mocking me from the sidelines.
“I didn’t say anything. … This one [bigger] girl grabbed me by the shoulders and was holding me. After about five minutes, I just wanted to get out of there.”
Grossmann, who is white, said she told the women, who were black, “You guys don’t even know me. There’s no reason to think I’m racist.”
At that point, she said, she pushed the bigger one in the group, and “she punched me, and the back of my head hit a brick wall.”
Message to self-entitled young people who believe their vote for The Empty Suit makes them morally superior:
Most of us are not young, inexperienced kids.
Quite a few of us are armed.
Watch your fucking step.

There will be a backlash against this type of shit.

The fights between equals, here being students, will occur under the best of possible conditions. What I fear and I’ve seen evidence of this is that teachers and people in position of power are bullying students who don’t chant praises about Obama. There are teachers who are fanatical in their worship of Obama and they dedicate themselves to destruction of students who hold conservative, right,… views. It is easier to hold your tongue and keep yourself out of trouble. Unfortunately when you hold your tongue, their perpetual rant about the benefits of their liberal, socialist ideology goes on and on. Many students start to believe that there is no alternative. I don’t know the answer. If it is my kid and he needs to go to college, I would tell him to avoid trouble and just get to your goal. But it is hard to have to repair all this brainwashing, especially in secret.

It’s a pity duels aren’t legal.

exdissident, your dismay at the redefinition of “education” is noted and shared. This reinforces itself by lefty types thinking themselves somehow smarter for staying in the academia. Righty types wander off into industry and entrepeneurship where the smell of money is stronger.
