Tough auto emissions standards backed by Gov. Charlie Crist cleared a hurdle when a Florida commission gave its approval to rules fiercely opposed by car industry lobbyists but praised by environmentalists as a way to fight global warming.
The Environmental Regulation Commission voted 6-1 on Tuesday to adopt California’s emissions rules as a way of lowering greenhouse gases, which many scientists blame for global warming. It would force auto makers to sell more fuel-efficient cars in Florida, which they say will drive up prices and limit availability.
First off, I’m in the Global Warming Is BULLSHIT camp. Let’s just get that right out there in the open. It’s a scam, elevated to a rend-your-clothes, ashes-poured-over-your-head, goat-sacrificing Religion by special interest groups. Oh, and this fat fuck.
Mister Liberty Girl had to endure this sham when he was still in the Navy and living in Virginia. Garages have to pay exorbitant fees to the state to qualify as an inspection station, and then seem to think this licenses them to “upsell” anyone who walks through the door. “Well, your emissions are fine, but your tires are looking a little worn there, Ms. Gullible.”
Yeah, this is going to work out just great.
As someone who works in the meteorology field (and doesn’t admit it often because I don’t enjoy it much; it just pays the bills
) I can assure everyone that “global warming” is the biggest scam since social security. Everytime someone even mentions those words I hear nails on a chalkboard. If they actually believe that nonsense, my estimation of their IQ is immediately cut in half.

Don’t you guys know that “global warming” is out? “Climate change” is in. Kind of hard to sell global warming when the temp hasn’t risen in 10 years… as a matter of fact, it’s gotten cooler. Hence the new phony term.
People are idiots. If anyone doubts it, take a look at the ferocity with which the climate change dopes cling to that myth and the fact that BHO is President.

I’m old, so I remember a Time magazine cover from the ’70′s touting the “Coming Ice Age” or something. Scared the hell outta me, I hate the cold.
I welcomed Global Warming, and did all I could to participate in the phenomena.
Sadly, it seems my increased carbon footprint has done no good, as it’s darned cold out there. I’m sorry, humanity – I let you down.

I’m probably older than rick … so I well remember the whole nuclear winter/ice age/we’re all going to die crap from the ’60′s and ’70′s.
I’d welcome global warming … I’d simply LOVE to have the ocean closer, and be able to grow bananas in Michigan. The reality, however, is that we’re several years into a cycle where the temperatures generally are 10-15 degrees BELOW normal/average.
And they keep up the crap … now asthma sufferers, including my wie, are going to get raped by the drug companies because of envirofreaks still beating the dead “hole-in-the-ozone-layer” horse and getting inhalers banned … with the new ones less efficient and more costly.
The number one aim of the envirofreaks is to drive us all back to living in caves … and dying enmasse, of course. Envirofreaks hate humanity and want to destroy it. We soon need to start fighting back and stringing the fuckers up from the trees they love to hug!!
