Unfortunately Not a Movie Shoot

By  ·  December 5th, 2008

Ok, one more post…

Mister Liberty Girl works in Plant City, exactly where this motherfucker is currently mowing down friends, neighbors and cop cars with a (media-approved) “AK-47 type assault rifle.”  The police have dusted off the APC, and the M-16s, and have basically blockaded access to the major Interstate artery that runs through town and are hunting down this prick with dogs.

So, THAT’S fun.

While MLG and co-workers are outside their building watching the helis circle, he asks his boss if anyone minds him getting his Glock out of his locked glove compartment.  The response was, “if you do you aren’t coming back in this building.”

Commentary on that to come.

UPDATE:  Holed up in a house four blocks from your office?  Babe, you think they’d mind if you just sat in your car WITH YOUR GUN for a bit?

  1. Not coming back in the building? Why are people so RETARDED?! They have the opportunity to be protected from a maniac and they say NO????

    I don’t get it. I really don’t.

Asshats that stupid don’t deserve protection. If I were Mr. LG, I’d just go be near my gun all by my lonesome.

  3. My wife was fired from two different jobs when they found out she had a gun. One job required her to work alone in a medical office at night.

I fully support her. (We don’t need her income any way- it is just play money)

  4. If I felt there was a threat, I’d go get my gun and just not tell anyone. Its easier to ask forgivness than permission. If they find out?.. I’d rather be alive and unemployed than dead, but in the good graces of the boss.

I’m licensed to carry concealed in my state, btw, but my employer won’t allow employees to carry while on company time – so I don’t.

As far as they know :)

  5. Well folks, here’s the deal. The boss doesn’t want any guns in the building for insurance reasons. My supervisor, both owners, and the partners all own guns. But they don’t carry in the office either. (They don’t even CCW) The building is a historic site though, so that makes weird requirements for insurance.

As for me, if anyone is looking to hire a former naval intelligenceman, lemme know.
