I was a child abuse investigator for three years (average for that position is two years.) I did not have the time to investigate something like that. Someone who does should probably be fired for not doing there job. I was too busy locking up sex offenders to have time for games.

Are these kids doomed to a lifetime of ass-kickings until they get old enough to change their names… Probably

Did the parents give any of this any thought before they embarked on their little self-aggrandizement exercise…Doubtful

Any chance that these kids would be better off under the care of the state of New Jersey…None at all

And yet these parents will probably still die with a surprised look on their faces when their little darlings hack them to pieces in their beds.

Naming one child Adolph Hitler, you might be able to get away with saying you’re not a racist (You’d still be incredibly stupid, though)
Naming the second child Aryan Nation gets that initial pass revoked. (And ‘Honzlynn Hinler? Might they be too stupid to get Heinrich Himmler??)
I’m sorta with Folly on this one…might not be actually against the law, but it’s borderline child abuse. In addition to childhood ass-beatings, how are these children gonna be perceived by people who shape their lives, like teachers, den-mothers, and parents of any friends they might develop?
It wouldn’t be grounds for removal, in itself, but I’d say it warranted some serious fucking monitoring.

These parents are idiots, yes, but I agree. No actual abuse, no removal. Fortunately, I don’t have to decide what constitutes abuse.

Now, you could probably make an argument that naming your child “Adolf Hilter Campbell” is guaranteeing him a lifetime of assbeatings. Could that be considered that abuse? Having that albatross hung around your neck like the father’s swastika tattoo? It looks like that is what the court in NJ thought.

I did love it when they said “No, we’re not racists” on TV. That was funny.

LG, I’m with you on this. While I think both of these parents should have been “Kicked In The Ass”(tm) when they tried to name these kids, giving your kids unfortunate names is not grounds for removal. I see a big lawsuit coming here.
