I’m with Joanie, I think, but not because I don’t wish to say anything that’s not nice. Aheh. But rather because the “event” is not worth my time, attention and/or words.
The kids are out of school tomorrow, so I think we’ll bake cookies and bread instead of watching anything on TV, or reading anything on the ‘net. We’ll turn on the Pandora station – which features nothing at all resembling a frothing talk radio host, or inane DJ – and we’ll make with the flour, sugar and yeast. Then MLG will have the pleasure of coming home from his unfortunately left-leaning office to a haven of fresh bread, cookies, and people who are the exact opposite of incurably stupid.
See you all on the other side.

Such a pleasant juxtaposition: cheese graters and baking cookies, all in one blog!
You realize that in 5 years (if no re-election) we’ll be officially adding Obama to Presidents Day observance.
Yeah, I think the best way to observe tomorrow is to NOT.

I love you liberty girl. And NO, not in the classical patriarchal romatic way (you have Mr. Liberty girl and I have Mrs. Infidel), but in the kindred spitit kind of way. But, I do love your site. Props out to you. Now get onto eviscerating!

lessee … work today .. keep door closed. Quick buffet dinner on the way to a woodworkers club meeting. Get home in time to go out to the barn, shovel shit and put the horses up, and back to the house for bed. TV stays off for one full day.
That won’t make the world go away, but at least I’ve have a full day without the gawdawful smirk.

I am going to pass as well, not because he isn’t worth my time, which he isn’t. But, because I rather spend it more wisely and productively.

I’ve hardly watched TV at all since I turned it off on Election Night.
Mainly just a few football games and I’m not even that much of a football fan.
