The Christident speaks:
n a closed-door meeting with House Republicans on Tuesday to discuss the $819-billion economic stimulus bill, President Obama suggested that Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal failed because it was too small, Reps. Steve King (R-Iowa) and Rob Bishop (R-Utah), who attended the meeting, told CNSNews.com.
“FDR’s initial steps did actually work,” Obama said at the meeting, according to King. Obama went on to say, “Then he [FDR] pulled back towards a balanced budget, and then what you had was a recession within a depression. Then World War II came along and was the biggest stimulus plan ever.”
Dear 52s,
You’ve elected a fucking moron.
That makes you what?
You guessed it, fucking morons, too.
Love,

Wowza. I feel like I’m going to spend the next four years in a general state of cringing. I can’t decide which of those two last sentences from the quote makes my head hurt more.

Revisionist retard.
Desperately trying to avoid talk about FDR turning a four year recession into a sixteen year depression.

So does that mean that’s he’s going to start WW3? It’s gonna have to be a doozy to pull us out of the hole that he’s trying to dig.

And he whistles through his teeth too when he speaks. Could be the wind whistling through his ears and out his mouth.

I’m getting frikkin’ sick of walking past the idiot box and seeing his smirking puss on the screen. I was actually looking forward to Bush’s retirement as I was so sick and tired of the vitriol hurled at him constantly… never thinking that the media’s adulation of the obamadroid would drive them into an even worse frenzy.
Sorry, I have to disagree with you about B. Hussein … I think you have to have a measurable IQ to be a moron, and he’s not measurable … he’s just a typical miserable product of reverse discrimination.

There are a lot of historians and economists – ones who actually know what they’re talking about – who say that FDR’s policies actually extended the Depression by 5 or so years.
The problem with Obama is not that he’s a moron (he’s just amoral), but that he’s a pretty bright guy with all the wrong ideas.
“Then World War II came along and was the biggest stimulus plan ever.”
From that, it logically follows that the Big O thinks that our best hope is another big war somewhere. That’ll really make his supporters sit up and take notice.

It’s funny how the same people who talk about money as though every penny a person has they pulled directly out of another person’s pocket, behave as though the government isn’t the only system where that’s actually the way things work?

I turned my TV off on Election Night and didn’t turn it on again until 2-3 weeks later, because I couldn’t stomach the sight of smug, gloating newspeople.
Since then, I’ve largely gotten out of the TV-watching habit. I seldom turn it on now. Lately I’ve been reading that His O’liness is constantly on TV.
Looks like I made the right decision.
