Oh isn’t this just the DEAREST THING EVAR:
End war, forever. Make the planet greener. Please help my dad find work. Make it rain candy!
Thousands of kids detailed their hopes and expectations for President Obama in letters and drawings as part of a “Dear Mr. President” project, with 150 chosen for publication in a free e-book being released today, on Presidents Day.
And the next generation of liberal wussies is well on their way.
We told Liberty Son and Liberty Daughter that the Messiah had just indebted them into their dotage, and I swear, if the bastard could see the resulting look in LD’s eye, he’d immediately pack up his black widow wife, spawn, and exeunt the country for more hospitable climes. Belgium might be nice. LD is SCARY when she’s pissed. And baby, she is PISSED.

“End war, forever. Make the planet greener. Please help my dad find work. Make it rain candy!”
And that is probably from the adults in the left wing.

I’ve got this at my blog too, and I thought the candy thing was pretty cool.
You know, this kind of thing is cute from kids, and is somewhat less cute from Senators and Representatives.

I think Bob G is right. These kids have been coached by their liberal-loon parents. Or more likely, by their liberal-loon teachers.
Otherwise, why would kids who spend 8 hours a day playing “shoot-em-up” video games come up with a line like “bring the troops home”?
I too am mightily pissed about this.
And that crapulous organization that’s among those trying to turn President’s Day (which we who know better is Washington’s Birthday) into Obama’s Day.

Ha! Ain’t that the truth?

@BobG: That was my first thought, too. Probably because we’ve been hearing the equivalent for months now.

ZZ Mike, they’re coached more by the liberal education system than their parents. Remember, the government already took away parental powers in disciplining their own children. Agencies like the Child Welfare Services sprang up all over the country during the Carter Administration. They’ve turned our own kids against us and then wonder why kids today have no fucking clue.

I’ve been hearing that sort of bullshit since I first went to college, back in 1969. I managed to piss-off a lot of SDS assholes.
