I suppose it was the new project, Simon-Jester.org, that really got me thinking about this… I run this site under a pseudonym, hurling invective and choice bits from my storehouse of carefully gathered curse words at those who would slash and burn our Constitution, our capitalist way of life, our future ability to live, work, love and die unfettered. And maybe you could make the case for continued anonymity, particularly with all the bullshit laws coming down the pike, but you know, when you start advocating taking a stand, you pretty much have to start at home.
Hi, I’m Stacy Tabb. Some of you will remember me from Blogatelle.com. (It’s a pr0n site, now, I don’t recommend surfing on over there.) Others will know me from here, though the biz is somewhat slow right now. Still others will know me from here, where cooking, photography and gardening are the main subjects. And yet others will know me from here, but as Hazel Stone.
All those people are me and yet LG is me, too. I’m a venter…I get torqued, curse like a sailor and then move on. LG.org, along with my backyard garden, has kept me sane these past few months, what with my country going to hell and my kid trying to fail 6th grade (that last part is still up in the air, btw). It’s been adding to the stress, keeping all these pseudonyms straight, so there…that’s one less thing right there.
So, erm…nice to meet you all! You know, again.

Hi Stacy!
When I started Speak, Dog, Speak!, I thought about using a pseudonym. But, then I decided “what the hell”. I am who I am, and I don’t really give a damn who knows it.
Welcome to livin’ out loud, Baby!

Heh. It’s so odd that I know most of the bloggers’ I read real names. I forget the entire world doesn’t know who they are some times.
I’ve only been myself online. I did it as a safety valve in a way. I know that the Internet + Anonymity = Fucktard formula would have applied to me, so I forced my hand in the matter.
Being actively searching for a new job, I’ve come to realize that probably wasn’t the best idea, but then again if a company doesn’t want to hire someone like me, then it’s not a company I’d want to work for anyway.

I’ve never quite understood the anoni-mousy thing myself … while I’ve used a nom d’plume on a couple of motorcycle sites in the past, I’d always sign my posts with my real name.
Heck, someone doesn’t like what I say … I’m not hard to find … but I’m also not worried since the whiners and weiners on the other side of the political spectrum are spineless little cowards anyhow.
Regardless, nice to mettcha again, Stacy/Hazel/LG!

Hi there, Stacy. I’m currently semi-anonymous as a blogger. Anyone with an internet connection and more brains than a fencepost could figure out my identity in 5 minutes or so, but so far I haven’t stepped out under my real name all the way. I likely will very soon, though, I have been leaning more and more that way over recent months.

Hmm, ya know what, Stacy? You’ve inspired me. Screw it! Off with the cloak. My name is Byron Wolfsong. I’m off now to post it on my page.

Brian Smith, although my friends all call me Max. Great blog, keep up the finely honed outrage, and I’ll try to fan it occasionally
“The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions that I wish it to always be kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all. I like a little rebellion now and then. It is like a storm in the atmosphere.”

Hi Stacy! Candace Sanders, here. More anonymous than I was, but just because I haven’t found/taken another (better) picture picture of myself for my blog.

Thanks, all, for the encouragement. I figured nobody would care a whit.
Pete, I know and I can’t do much about it. It’s probably conflicting with some other plugin, in which case both of them can bite my ass.

Actually, sailor cursing is pretty much restricted to variations on one particular word used as a verb, noun, adverb, and adjective as necessary. It’s generally very monotonous.
