What the entire fuck happened to, “We don’t negotiate with terrorists”??
The American ship captain being held hostage by pirates on a lifeboat off Somalia tried to escape from his captors by jumping overboard, a U.S. official said today. Richard Phillips was recaptured and is thought to be unharmed, the official said. Phillips was believed to be trying to swim to the USS Bainbridge, a naval warship sent to the scene after Phillips’ cargo ship was attacked by the pirates on Wednesday.
The man had to try and rescue his ownself for fuck’s sake!

It’s almost like the President has forgotten that it’s only Americans who vote in federal elections, and ergo he should maybe BE CONCERNED WITH PROTECTING THEM if he wants to be re-elected in 1306 days (no, I’m not counting the days, what made you think that?). I swear to the gods, if he does one more thing that resembles apologizing for the US or bowing to another foreign leader, I’m going to adopt that bullshit liberal line of the last 8 years and claim that he’s not *my* President.

Big tip o’ the hat to Captain Richard “Big Dick” Phillips for his nighttime escape attempt, more so for sacrificing himself to save his crew.(THAT is what it means to be American, kids.)
I can only pray that he will try sabotage next, and that it’ll be successful.
