A professor in Connecticut reported one of her students to the police after he gave a class presentation on why students and teachers should be allowed to carry concealed weapons on campus. Now, free speech activists say the professor’s actions are what really need to be investigated.

Last October, John Wahlberg and two classmates at Central Connecticut State University gave an oral presentation for a communications class taught by Professor Paula Anderson. The assignment was to discuss a “relevant issue in the media,” and the students presented their view that the death toll in the April 2007 Virginia Tech shooting massacre would have been lower if professors and students had been carrying guns.

That night, police called Wahlberg, a 23-year-old senior, and asked him to come to the station. When he arrived, they they read off a list of firearms that were registered in his name and asked where he kept them. Guns are strictly prohibited on the CCSU campus and residence halls, but Wahlberg says he lives 20 miles off-campus and keeps his gun collection locked up in a safe. No further action was taken by police or administrators.

Makes you just want to catch her in a dark hallway and yell BOO, doesn’t it.  Stupid cow.

Today, and every Wednesday – well, at least until I lose interest – we honor those, um…people, yeah, who sincerely and humfeltly deserve a kick in the ass.  Through word or deed, they’ve distinguished themselves from The Herd in ways selfish, idiotic, and/or otherwise jam-packed with FAIL.

1. The fucktards in charge of releasing terrorists from Gitmo, so they can charge right back out into the sandpit and resume shooting at our servicefolk.  Genuinely brilliant move there, people.  *insert slow, sarcastic clapping* Here’s a thought, fellas…when you catch the guys in the first place, why not just shoot them while they try to “escape.”  Seriously, easiest thing in the world to arrange – any podunk, backwoods sheriff can show you how.
2. This son of a whore who sold his 14 year old daughter to an 18 year old cockbiter for, and I fucking quote:  ”…$16,000…160 cases of beer, 100 cases of soda, 50 cases of Gatorade, two cases of wine, and six cases of meat…”  Look, Paco, that might be how things work back in the home country, but presumably you’ve come to Amereeeca to fucking better yourself and your family – that USED to be the goddamned reason, anyway – so how about eschewing some of the more Neolithic of your cultural baggage, eh?  
3. It seems The Messiah is inexorably drawn to kindred souls in his cabinet nominations, as evidenced by the apparent taxation and immigration indiscretions of treasury secretary nominee Tim Geithner.  Sleaze calls to sleaze, after all.

I wonder if there was ever a time in my life when reading the news did NOT make me angry.  If there is, I sure can’t recall it…I suppose it’s as they say:  if you’re not pissed off, then you’re not paying attention.  

Reading the news this morning has my blood pressure up, and that little vein in my temple throbbing, so in sheer self defense, I hereby create Kick in the Ass Day.  It seems like the kind of thing you might have once a year, but nooooo, I think we need to have it once a week instead, seeing as how there are So Very Many people who are So Very Deserving of a kick in the ass.  Ergo, every Wednesday hereforth is Kick in the Ass Day.  Here, I’ll start:

1. French President Nicolas Sarkozy, a man I would not trust to find his own dick without a GPS fix:  ”…went so far as to say, revoltingly, that Israel had hurt the cause of peace in the Mideast by sending ground troops into Gaza.”
2. Egyptian President Mubarak, a man who knows neither jack nor shit about ‘humanitarianism:’  ”…called the humanitarian crisis in Gaza “intolerable,” and demanded an immediate ceasefire and the opening of a humanitarian corridor into Gaza.  Mr. Mubarak blamed the deteriorating situation in Gaza on Israel’s military operations and said it is leading to an increase in tensions and instability in the Mideast.”
3. Annie Lennox, singer and drooling moron:  ”A few days after Christmas I came downstairs, put the television on and saw smoke pyres emanating from buildings and it shook me to the core. I was thinking, as a mother and as a human being, how was this going to be a solution to peace? It’s a question of human rights, human values that goes beyond Jewish, Muslim, nothing to do with any of that. There has to be a place ultimately where people come to the table”. “

With the exception of the dancing monkey there in the #3 slot, these people, one can assume, are reasonably intelligent to rise to the top leadership position in their respective countries – or at least cunning as fuck – so how does one explain their apparent position that it’s hunky dory for the terrorists to lob over 3000 missiles (in 2008) at Israeli civilians, but it’s not so peachy keen for the IDF to wade in and kick some fucking ass to make it stop?   That’s not logic, that’s self-fucking-delusion.
